Fees
FEES FOR FLORIDA MEDIATIONS & ARBITRATIONS
Each party to a Mediation or Arbitration will be billed in equal shares unless the parties arrange otherwise.
Mediation and Arbitration sessions and other billable time will be billed at $250/hour per party for two-party disputes. All other disputes (3 or more parties) will be billed at $200/hour per party. When reserving session time, fees are subject to a minimum amount set forth below under Minimum Fees.
In addition, the parties will be billed for all time and expenses associated with the Mediation or Arbitration, which typically include preparation time, e-mails, telephone calls, any travel fees and costs, any conference room rental, post-settlement or arbitration work for reporting, billing and collection efforts (which may include any necessary attorney fees and costs).
Note! Fees for court-ordered or government agency-assigned mediations and arbitrations may have different fee structures.
Minimum Fees
Morning or Afternoon Half-day Session - 3 hour minimum fee
Full-day Session - 6 hour minimum fee
Conference Room Rentals
Most mediation or arbitration sessions can be conducted remotely. If a mediation or arbitration requires conference space, the expense will be billed in equal shares to the parties.
Travel Fees and Expenses
Necessary travel time will be invoiced at $300/hr. Travel expenses may include mileage, airfare, parking, lodging, meals, and any other related expenses. All Travel Fees and Expenses will be billed in equal shares to all parties.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the Mediation or Arbitration.
Attorneys involved in the Mediation or Arbitration and/or their law firms are responsible to ensure that services are paid timely. Otherwise, the attorney and law firm (if applicable) will be liable for unpaid fees and costs, including any cancellation fees.
Unrepresented parties must pay no later than upon completion of the of Mediation or Arbitration. A deposit may be required to secure payment.
Invoices typically are e-mailed upon completion of the Mediation or Arbitration work. But in certain cases an invoice for an advance deposit may be sent before the Mediation or Arbitration to secure payment of services. Failure to pay timely such a deposit may result in cancellation of the Mediation or Arbitration
Cancellation Fee
You must e-mail us at least five full days’ notice to cancel any scheduled Mediation or Arbitration. The cancellation e-mail should be copied to all parties. Late cancellation notice will result in a Cancellation Fee of $1000.00, to be shared equally by the parties, unless otherwise agreed or stated in writing before the Mediation or Arbitration.

Each party to a Mediation or Arbitration will be billed in equal shares unless the parties arrange otherwise. We do not charge an administrative fee for privately-arranged mediations. Administrative fees may be applied for court or government sponsored mediations or arbitrations.
